Important Notice

NXT Sentinel is a personal security tool designed to help in emergency situations. It is not a substitute for law enforcement or professional security services. By using this app, you acknowledge its limitations and agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using NXT Sentinel ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use the App.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Nxtconnectoff Corp. ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Eligibility

NXT Sentinel is designed as a personal safety tool and is available to users of all ages. Minors should use the App with parental or guardian consent and supervision. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you have the necessary permission to do so.

3. License and Restrictions

Grant of License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use NXT Sentinel on devices you own or control, subject to these terms.

You May NOT:

  • • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • • Remove or modify any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
  • • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • • Transmit viruses or malicious code through the App
  • • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data

4. Proper Use and Limitations

Critical: What This App Is NOT

  • • NXT Sentinel is not a replacement for calling 911 or local emergency services
  • • NXT Sentinel does not guarantee your safety in dangerous situations
  • • SMS alerts may fail due to network coverage, device issues, or carrier restrictions
  • • Device lockdown features may not work in all scenarios or on all devices

This App is a supplementary tool to enhance your personal security. You should always follow standard safety protocols and contact emergency services directly when in immediate danger.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • • Keeping your account credentials secure
  • • Accurately configuring emergency contacts
  • • Testing the App in "Test Mode" to ensure it works on your device
  • • Understanding local laws regarding audio monitoring and emergency alerts
  • • Ensuring you have necessary permissions enabled (microphone, location, etc.)

6. Privacy and Data

Your use of NXT Sentinel is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

Key points: We use a "Zero Knowledge" architecture. Your trigger word, app lists, and emergency contacts are stored exclusively on your device. We do not have access to this data.

7. Subscription and Payment

Free Tier

NXT Sentinel offers a free tier with basic functionality. We may limit features or impose usage caps on free accounts.

Premium Subscription

Premium features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store, subject to their respective terms.

  • • Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
  • • Refunds are subject to App Store/Play Store policies
  • • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
  • • Guarantees that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure
  • • Guarantees that SMS alerts will be delivered successfully
  • • Guarantees that device lockdown features will prevent unauthorized access in all scenarios

9. Limitation of Liability

Critical Legal Notice

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NXTCONNECTOFF CORP. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

  • • Your use or inability to use the App
  • • Failure of SMS alerts to be delivered
  • • Unauthorized access to your device despite lockdown features
  • • Any conduct or content of third parties using the App
  • • Any harm that results from your use of the App in an emergency situation

Our total liability for all claims related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is less.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Nxtconnectoff Corp., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, including if we believe you have violated these terms.

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us via Discord.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We'll notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes must be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
